Private server pricing follows the same principle as our public servers: you pay for the usage and value you receive, not just for the license you hold. The more your team uses the platform, the more you pay. The less you use it, the less you pay.
Setup
One-time configuration fee. Covers the full deployment and initial setup of your private server instance.
License
Monthly software license fee. Covers the application, updates, and ongoing platform support.
Traffic
Usage-based traffic cost. Scales with the actual activity on your server — up or down.

All prices in EUR, excluding VAT. EU businesses: Reverse Charge applies with valid VAT number.
Traffic-Based Usage
On top of the monthly license, your server’s traffic determines an additional variable cost. The base tier is included in your license. When your usage exceeds the base tier, you move to the next level automatically.
How it works:
1. Base tier included in monthly license
2. Usage monitored per billing cycle
3. If you exceed a tier, you move up
4. More usage = higher cost
5. Less usage = lower cost
result: you only pay for the traffic you generate
Infrastructure is on you.
The LogbookOS pricing covers the software and deployment. Third-party infrastructure services are your own accounts with your own billing. These are separate from our fees.
Each provider bills you directly. We do not manage, monitor, or take responsibility for your third-party accounts or their costs.

Public server or private server?
For most teams, a public server is the right choice. A private server only makes sense when you need full data isolation or when your organisation has enough volume to justify the fixed costs.
With a private server, you are the data holder and we are the data processor. You are fully responsible for GDPR compliance, data protection, privacy policies, and legal pages on your server.
If any third-party account (Render, Cloudflare, etc.) lapses due to non-payment, we are not liable for any data loss. Your developer or your team is responsible for maintaining all infrastructure subscriptions.
Mandatory: Your organisation must have a trained team member who understands GDPR, privacy policy implementation, and data protection procedures.
